Douya has been a beloved part of my family for over two years. He came to me after being rehomed twice, and since then he has become a calm, happy, and confident cat who fills our home with joy and love. Recently, Douya has been diagnosed with FORL (Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions) and severe gingivitis, which have left him in significant discomfort. He has halitosis and damaged teeth that now need to be extracted to prevent further pain, infection, and serious health complications. Without this surgery, Douya will continue to suffer daily. Although he has pet insurance, this procedure isn’t covered because it’s considered a pre-existing condition.
