Hello!

My name is Lane Hadley and I serve as the Athletic Director at Doulos Discovery School located in the town of Jarabacoa in the Dominican Republic.

Doulos is a Christian bilingual school that provides high-quality, internationally accredited education to kids from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds in the community of Jarabacoa. 50% of our students are part of our school's scholarship program and come from homes where access to this type of quality education would not be possible were it not for our scholarship program.

Apart from a great education, Doulos strives to provide a high-quality interscholastic sports experience for our student-athletes, which involves games and tournaments being played all around the country and oftentimes against schools with a student body that greatly outnumbers our own.

With running a high-quality sports program that offers elementary, middle school, and high school levels of competition, there are many costs. Transportation to and from games, adequate practice equipment (all types of balls, soccer and volleyball nets, basketball hoops, etc.), maintaining/updating game uniforms so that all kids can look and feel legit on the court/field, paying our amazing coaching staff a salary that they deserve for the tireless hours outside of their other roles in the school—the list could go on and on.

We are looking for donors who are passionate about giving young athletes chances to play the sports they love by helping us continue to provide the required materials, coaches, and transportation that they will need to have an amazing year as part of their teams here at Doulos.
