Help Doug on his journey from stroke to strength
Thank you to everyone for your continued prayers and support for our dad, Doug Felker. As some of you know and for those who don’t; Friday morning our daddy suffered from a major stroke. By the Grace of God and the Power of Prayer, he is still with us. Dad was transferred to Marshall and then to Kaiser Sacramento, where he has received excellent care. After a surgical procedure to remove the clots from his neck and brain, he is alert and aware. Daddy cannot speak or really move his right extremities, YET, but each day he is making miraculous progress. Our dad is nothing short of a miracle.
It’s going to be a long road to recovery. Dad is going to need extensive therapy and around the clock care. With all of that and the hospital bills, medication fees and other financial burdens, we are humbling asking for help to relieve our Mama of the financial stress that she is enduring so that she can focus on Dad and his recovery. Our mom is the sole provider and is taking as much time off as she can to be there for our dad. It’s just a lot for her. Anything will help. And if all you can do is pray; that is just as much appreciated.
Thank you again for the outpouring of prayers, kind words and support during this time.
Forever grateful :-)
Daddy’s Three Little Birds,
