My name is Douglas Gomez Melgar. I am a freshman at Virginia Tech and I will be participating in Spectre Percussion as their bass guitar player.

Indoor drumline has been an activity that I’ve loved for years, it has been a way for me to connect to new people who I can now call best friends and even family. I’ve also been able to play amazing music with some extremely talented people surrounding me and I’ve love every minute of it. I have marched Hayfield Secondary Indoor Drumline ‘23 and South County combined ‘25.

Unfortunately, WGI is an expensive activity, so I am saving up to make $1850 to cover membership fees. I am beyond grateful for any support I receive and would even be happy if people were to just share this page :)
