Dougie and Vicky Brandt are our hanai aunty and uncle, longtime residents of Kekaha, and people who mean so much to our family and community. We even bought our house from Dougie, which makes this especially close to our hearts. After surviving Category 2 Hurricane Lowell, they are now facing the heartbreaking damage the storm left behind. The storm damaged their roof, and water came through their home like rain, flooding their space and turning everyday life into a struggle. What should be a safe place to rest and recover has been badly damaged, and they now have to begin the difficult process of cleaning up and rebuilding.

Right now, support for Dougie and Vicky will help with immediate needs like a generator, solar lanterns or lights, storage containers, and dry bedding.
