Help Doug Walsh fight Cancer!

Hi, my name is Kim and I am fundraising for Doug Walsh, my daughter Mallory's father in-law. His recent cancer diagnosis leaves him needing community help like never before! Doug has always taken great care of his wife Pam and sons, DJ and Darren, as well as helping his neighbors and the community. He has always been willing to help anyone who needed it.

Doug has been a master electrician since 1992 and owns his own business, licensed in 2 states. 2020 was especially hard for business owners like Doug and Pam. Doug has been the sole provider for his family for almost 30 years.

The diagnosis of Tonsil Cancer is taking a toll on the entire family in more ways than one.

Besides their work being greatly decreased, due to Covid, now his calendar is filling up with surgeries, doctor appointments and soon, radiation and possibly chemo. Pam has been employed by his Electrical Service company since 1997 but, due to recent financial struggles, the company has not been able to pay her. As business owners, a day without work means a day without money coming in.

Doug's journey is just beginning. Cancer is very difficult for everyone and will be particularly hard on Doug and Pam. Medical bills on top of lost wages will make it very difficult to stay afloat.

Doug has always been healthy. He quit smoking 6-7 years ago and hasn't had a drink in 15 years. Despite eating healthy, he has been diagnosed with this horrible disease. Cancer doesn't care!

Will you please rally around my extended family and help in any way you possibly can?

This will be Doug and Pam's toughest road yet and I don't want them to also worry about how to pay bills.
