Help Doug Secure a Safe Home

Hello everyone.

I have a problem and I can't find the resources to help.

Those of you who follow me know that my son Doug has had a very rough time of it for a long time now.

After fighting with 5 separate amputations, mixed in between 24 surgeries, 3 times going septic and nearly dieing. He has fought his way back to full activity and mobility after 6 separate prosthetic right legs. He has worked so hard.

Now he is in a divorce after 34 years. He is living in a 35 year old camper piggybacked on his truck. That camper will not last this fall and winter. He has nowhere else to go.

Now we have an opportunity to buy a used 5th wheel trailer that would be perfect for my son and his dog.

I am asking for help raising $1,500 to buy it and get them moved into a safe place.

I know that he is looking and working as hard as possible to try to make it work, but I believe that he is out of options.

He will probably be embarrassed and upset that we have started this. It's so hard for him to ask for help after receiving so much over the years, but this is my son, and I need to help him.

Anything that you can give to help will be greatly appreciated. Those of you that can't help financially, prayers and good thoughts are very welcome as well.
