As I shared in my last Facebook post, I’m reaching out for support as I prepare for my big move from Chicago to Atlanta. The senior assisted living facility I chose has invited me to open Doug’s Dawgs Grooming Services right on their premises, and they’ve even set aside a space for me to convert into a grooming salon. That alone makes this move worthwhile, and it’s amazing to see God’s plan unfolding. This opportunity also brings me closer to my oldest child and my grandkids, which is a huge part of why I’m making this move.

BoJo and Ba’Rock, my two hounds, have actually been to Atlanta before—a couple of years ago, we traveled down for a dog show. It feels like everything is coming full circle, and I’m excited for what’s ahead for all of us. You never really know what God has in store, but I’m grateful for this new chapter and the chance to build something meaningful in a new city.
