Hello, my name is Doug. I am 69 years old and live on a fixed income, facing a number of mental and physical health challenges. In 2021, I was involved in a car accident that totaled my vehicle. Thankfully, my brother generously gifted me a 2004 Jeep Liberty so I could continue to get around and take care of myself.

Unfortunately, my Jeep now needs major repairs, and with my limited income, I simply cannot afford to fix it or buy another car. Having reliable transportation is essential for me to remain independent and to get to my many doctor and therapy appointments. Without a car, I risk losing access to the care I need and the ability to manage daily life on my own.
