Doug, one of our dear friends from St. Pete, has always been someone who brings light and laughter to those around him. Recently, Doug was diagnosed with terminal synovial sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. He has bravely endured countless treatments, but after a long and difficult journey, he has been given less than a year to live. Unable to work and facing the unimaginable, Doug is now at the end of his road. Currently being treated through hospice, with palliative care.
Despite everything, Doug’s spirit remains strong. He has a bucket list of dreams he hopes to fulfill in the time he has left, with a trip to Scotland at the very top. There are other experiences and adventures he wishes to enjoy, creating memories that will last forever for him and those who love him. We want to help Doug make the most of every moment, and that’s why we’re reaching out for support.
We want to thank everyone in advance for their kindness and generosity. This means so much to Doug, who hates to ask for anything but has very few options left. Anything you can give will help Doug experience joy and comfort in his remaining time, and your support is deeply appreciated by all of us.
