My name is Siobhan and I've created this GoFundMe page for my brother-in-law, Doug. Doug is not only my brother-in-law but the little brother I never had in my life. This October, the entire family's world was turned upside-down when Doug was diagnosed with leukemia. This diagnosis led to a weeks-long stay in the hospital at UCLA for treatments and observation. Now that Doug is back home, he will require many trips back and forth to UCLA for more treatment. The extended stay in the hospital, the need for continued treatments, and not to mention the gas prices for many trips back and forth have created a massive expense for Doug and his family. This situation has put a lot of stress on the entire family and I want to do anything I can to help ease the financial burden so Doug can focus on healing and fighting back against this terrible disease.
