Funds for Doug Fattic's Ukraine Bicycle Project

My name is Skip Montanaro. I'm helping Doug Fattic, a bicycle frame builder in Niles, MI, who has a long-time presence in Ukraine near Kyiv. The latest Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure have resulted in widespread power outages throughout the country. With winter underway, lack of heat and electricity are primary factors contributing to the suffering of the Ukrainian populace. Many people have no power, or power only for short periods.

The company that supplies Doug's fixtures has turned its attention to manufacturing enclosures for wood-fired heaters. I am redirecting this fundraiser to raise funds for the manufacture of these heaters. Each heater costs a bit over $100. Funds will be distributed as before, to close, reliable, contacts of Doug's. The heaters produced will go directly to people who need them. Please contribute if you can.
