My name is Doug and I am a 43-year-old diabetic. I am trying to raise money to help cover medical and living costs when I have foot surgery for bunions that are causing me to have ulcers on the bottoms of my feet.

Any donations will go towards living expenses like rent, utilities, car payment and insurance and groceries. As well as any medical expenses that aren't covered by my medical insurance.

I am planning to take an FMLA leave at the end of August to have the surgery done and will not be able to work for about 8 weeks.

I will be posting and update once I have seen my foot doctor again to make sure that my foot is healed enough to have the surgery.
