Hi, our names are Carmen and Beth , we are raising money to help our friends Doug and Teresa Davis. In March of this year both Doug and Teresa came down with Covid and also had double Pneumonia. They were both admitted to the hospital. Teresa was released 3 weeks later however it took her 5 months to fully recover to return to work. Doug was released from the hospital 28 days later but then returned to the hospital by ambulance a few days after he was home. He had developed blood clots in his Lungs from Covid and was put on a Ventilator 3 times , was put in ICU, went into septic shock and was placed in CCU, had a puncture Lung and has had Pneumonia a total of 5 times.

A Little over 6 months later he is still not home. He is currently in a Nursing Home receiving Physical Therapy and learning to do everyday things, such as feeding himself and walking .

Insurance did not pay entire Hospital bill and had not paid for Nursing home stay. He has been in rehab for 3 month now, Family has now had to pick up the rest of his bills. Any money that is raised will be going to pay off his hospital bills and his months of rehabilitation .

As of October 5th he has taken 7 steps with a walker. The Family is hopeful that he will be home for Christmas. Our goal is for them to not be burden with Medical bills.
