Help Doug Berkowitz, Rockland's Trusted Paramedic

My name is Monica Duarte, and I am writing to you today to ask for your help in aiding one of Rockland County's amazing paramedics during his time of need. Doug Berkowitz, who has been with Rockland Paramedic Services for over 30 years, recently suffered a massive heart attack. As a result, he will need significant time to recover and, unfortunately, will be unable to work for the foreseeable future.

For over three decades, he has been the paramedic we all hope to see walk through the door when we're in need of urgent care. He is a steady presence, known for his professionalism, kindness, and ability to offer comfort and reassurance to patients during times of extreme stress.
