Hello, we are neighbors of Doug and Vickie Trout in Taneytown, and we are devastated after witnessing the tragic fire that has now destroyed their home. While we are incredibly grateful that Doug and Vickie and dogs, Clyde and Oakley, were able to make it out safely, their hearts are heavy as they cope with the loss of one of their sweet dogs, Hadley. In addition to grieving this loss, they are now faced with the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.

In moments like these, no one should have to face the road ahead alone. Doug and Vickie have always been so kind and so caring to others, and now it’s our turn to support them. We are hoping to raise funds to help cover immediate needs such as clothing, toiletries, and other essentials - as well as to ease the financial burden as they begin the long process of recovery and rebuilding.
