Doug Hamilton is our volunteer and so is his wife Karen. They volunteer 5 to 7 days a week at Fairborn Trap-Neuter-Release. Today was a normal day. We had a mobile spay clinic come to our office and spay and neuter cats in our building so they can get adopted. Doug came in 7am. Cleaned all cages got cats ready to get fixed and went home to feed his cats and get a walk in. He went out for a walk and was hit by a car. He is in Miami valley Hospital. His wife is staying with him. He has massive head injuries. Bleeding on the brain. Collapse lung. As of right now he has no neurofunctions of the brain with stimulus. He did have it and was able to talk when he got to the hospital. So many other injuries too. We are collecting to help pay for medical bills. I truly think it will come to helping with his funeral.
