Help Doug and Chrissy's Family in Crisis
Donation protected
Hi, I am Chrissy's dad and Doug's father inlaw
My son-in-law was once dead! YES REALLY Revived by a sure miracle on the floor of Shaw's supermarket by pure angels with CPR and a defibrillator. He was then held in an induced coma for 2 days at Exeter Hospital ICU with some wonderful caring staff . Finally showing signs of life on Christmas Eve with some hand-holding and eyes blinking. Sounds like a movie, but maybe it should be.
Anyway, Doug has now been revived, breathing, and coherent after 2 days in an induced coma ( thanks to the lord above). Doug has been sent to Boston Mass General for immediate heart surgery. Doug and Chrissy have 6 great kids relying on them and will surely need financial support as neither of them can work or support them for at least several weeks. So many have helped with their time and effort and food... THANK YOU ALL.
Any donations to this fund will be spent wisely and appreciated, even small amounts. Doug has decent insurance but it will nowhere near cover total costs. Doug has heart surgery scheduled soon and Chrissy is staying in a hotel next to the hospital.
UPDATE: Doug needs to recover from pneumonia before they can operate so the surgery is tentative for Friday. He is feeling much better and is up and around the hospital when not plugged in!
Today is a big day! Surgery is now scheduled for this afternoon! (Monday 6th)
Doug’s strength and recovery journey continue to inspire us all. While he works on getting healthier for his heart surgery, your support is making a tremendous difference. Please share this fundraiser with your community to help us meet our goal. Every donation, share, and prayer counts. Thank you for being part of this miracle!
I will update this story very soon!!
Please be aware when making a donation that an automatic 15% tip may be applied to your payment unless you reduce the tip amount to 0 before you pay!
This is the story, soon to be a reality TV movie with POSITIVE results and PRAYERS for Doug's recovery.
