Hey all, I wouldn't normally do this, but on Friday, November 14th, our sweet Dottie had to have emergency surgery for a blockage (she got ahold of a towel and ate some it). We were hoping for a simple surgery of going in and removing it, but that was not the case. Because of the fibers on the towel, it caused a blockage from her esophagus through her stomach, through the intestines, and into her colon. It was an intense surgery, but they are confident they got it all. Dottie is currently on the mend, but a long road of recovery. She cannot come home until she can eat or drink on her own. As of this morning, November 16th, she is still not eating or drinking on her own and still in what they call a "guarded prognosis," which basically means they are uncertain still of the outcome for her.

If you know me and Taylor, our dogs are our "children." We love them more than anything else; they are part of our family. Dottie is my sidekick; we have connected since day one, and I just want her home and safe. Her sisters miss her.
