Help Save Dottie — A Feral Cat Shot with an Arrow
Dottie is a resilient and gentle feral cat who has been cared for by a close friend of mine. Over time, she’s begun to trust humans more — recently, she’s even started coming inside and allowing pets, which is a huge step for a cat like her.
Tragically, Dottie was recently shot with an arrow.
She survived, but the arrow is still lodged inside her, and she urgently needs surgery to remove it. Without treatment, she will continue to suffer and may not survive.
We are trying to give Dottie a real chance at life — especially now that she’s begun to experience safety, comfort, and human care.
Emergency veterinary treatment for this kind of injury is costly. We are raising funds to help cover:
• Emergency exam and imaging (X-rays)
• Surgery to safely remove the arrow
• Pain management and antibiotics
• Post-surgery recovery care
If we are unable to raise enough funds for Dottie’s surgery, any donations will either be refunded or given to a local animal rescue to help other cats in need.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps. And if you’re unable to donate, sharing this page can make a meaningful difference.
Dottie has already come so far. We’re hoping to give her the chance to fully heal and live safely.
Thank you for your compassion and support. ❤️
