Dottie is one of five pit bulls who were abandoned in and around Newman, CA. The first of the group was tragically hit and killed by a car before help could arrive. Three of the dogs were taken in by the local shelter, but Dottie was found a day after her pregnant sister, wandering alone on the outskirts of town. Because she was found outside the city limits, the shelter will not take her in, leaving her with nowhere safe to go.
Despite everything she’s been through, Dottie is a healthy, one-year-old female pit bull weighing 44.4 pounds. She is up to date on her rabies, DAAP, and Bordetella vaccines, and is unspayed. Right now, she urgently needs a safe place to stay while we search for a rescue, foster, or adoptive home for her. The funds raised will go directly toward Dottie's boarding, medical care, and food, ensuring she is safe and cared for during this uncertain time. Every dollar will help us provide for her immediate needs and give her the best chance at finding a loving family or rescue. No amount is too small—your support can make all the difference for Dottie as she waits for her second chance. Please consider donating or sharing her story to help us save her life and give her the future she deserves.
