My name is Dor, I am 35 years old, and I live in Florida (Hollywood). I am a single mother to two toddlers, a 3 year old boy and a one year old girl. This past February, I was diagnosed with breast cancer while fighting to stay alive and beat the illness. At the same time, I am dealing with a vengeful and painful divorce case in which the father of my children reported me to immigration, and I was detained for three weeks in jail as an inmate before deportation.

Thanks to the community rabbi, Rabbi Yosef Benita, I was able to receive a temporary extension of stay, during which an immigration attorney was appointed for me. Something like this costs tens of thousands of dollars. I do not have the money, and my medical condition makes it difficult for me to manage even daily expenses.

My family is in Israel and I am completely alone, and the only thing giving me strength are my two babies. I am begging you, please do not let something like this happen. Do not allow them to separate me from my babies. Something like that would be a death sentence for me. I want to raise my children healthy and whole.
