Rebuilding Hope After Tragedy — Help Us Build a New Home for a Local Widow

A devastating house fire recently tore through the home of a local woman named Dorothy Ratliff in our community. Heartbreakingly, the fire not only took her home — it also took her husband. In a single night, she lost her partner, her home, her belongings, and her sense of safety. Thankfully they did have insurance but it look like they are not going to cover the complete rebuild. They had lived in the house for nearly 40 years with a limited income, so much of the house was not up to todays standards. It is our professional opinion that it is most cost effective in the long run to insure she doesn’t have any issues in the future if we start from scratch.

As a local custom home builder, we were called to see if we could help. Our team is donating our time, expertise, and project management to completely rebuild her home at no profit, giving her a fresh foundation to begin healing.
