Help Dorothy With Her Fight Against Breast Cancer

My beautiful aunt, Dorothy Halkas, needs everyones support and prayers as she goes through the toughest battle of her life.

Dorothy has been married to her amazing husband, Manny, of 21 years and has raised a beautiful daughter, Izabella and her 3 nieces/nephew, Victoria, Brianna, and Thomas. Above all of that, she has always been the caregiver to her mother, Ronnie. My aunt has given up her whole life to support all those around her. I have watched her countlessly devote all of her energy into molding us all into the best we can be and being the greatest wife, mother, aunt, daughter, sibling and friend in the entire world.

Two years ago, my aunt was diagnosed with stage 1 hers2 positive breast cancer. She fought a long and tiring journey, after the most aggressive treatment. She underwent aggressive chemotherapy and has now been in remission for a year.

After our endless cries that her fight was over, she was recently diagnosed again with metastatic breast cancer that has now spread to her bones and liver with multiple masses. Her doctor urgently started targeting the cancer with gruelingly aggressive chemotherapy for the second time around. Starting this process very shortly ago has taken the biggest toll on Dorothy’s health. She is fighting for her life to get past gods most horrid curse and the worlds most fearful side effects. This has now impacted her life severely. Due to the nature of the cancer she is facing, Dorothy’s treatment has began immediately. She has started her first round of heavy chemotherapy once again and will have the fight of her life ahead of her.

God gifted Dorothy the purest and most beautiful soul. She is someone who would move heaven and earth just to see the people she loves happy and healthy. I ask now that we all do the same and help her in any possible way.
