For nearly a decade, I have been fighting metastatic cancer. My journey has included almost every chemotherapy and radiation treatment available, and while it has been incredibly challenging, I remain hopeful. Recently, I started a new chemotherapy that offers a renewed sense of promise and possibility.

My treatment plan requires me to travel between two hospitals: Henry Ford Cancer Pavilion in Detroit and MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. These trips are essential for my care, but the cost of flights continues to rise, making it difficult to keep up. Because I am currently unable to work while undergoing intensive chemotherapy and radiation, covering these travel expenses has become a real struggle.
