Help Dorota walk again!

Dorota's life took an unexpected turn when in a matter of 2 days she lost the ability to walk. Eventually, she was diagnosed with having cavernomas throughout her brain and one inside her spinal cord. Cavernomas are clusters of abnormal blood vessels that when they disrupt and bleed, they cause various issues depending on their location. In Dorota's case one such cavernoma disrupted inside her spinal cord which resulted in severe swelling of the cord causing her paralysis waist down. After a couple of delicate surgeries, she embarked on a challenging rehabilitation journey, determined to defy the odds and regain as much mobility as possible.

Physical therapy offered by the hospital has become a daily ritual, and Dorota continues to work tirelessly to strengthen her upper body and adapt to her new circumstances. To help her beat the odds and walk again requires additional hours of therapies that are not offered in a hospital setting, therefore her friends and family decided to launch this GoFundMe campaign to rally a community of supporters who believe in Dorota's strength and resilience. The vision is to raise the funds to help pay for the additional therapies as well as give a platform to share words of encouragement and inspiration from well-wishers near and far.
