If you know Dorinda Frederici, you know her smile lights up every room she walks into. She’s one of those rare people whose positivity lifts everyone around her — even in the toughest of times.

Dorinda was first diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in 2019, and through incredible strength and determination, she’s fought every challenge this disease has thrown her way. Recently, Dorinda learned that the cancer has spread to her spine and GI tract, and she’s now facing another aggressive round of treatment.

This past month, she’s been unable to work as she focuses on her health. Anyone who knows Dorinda knows how much she loves her job at Lowe’s and how she misses her amazing co-workers — she talks about them all the time as one of her biggest sources of encouragement and joy.

Dorinda is also a devoted single mom, and her youngest child will graduate from high school this coming June — a milestone she’s determined to see and celebrate.

As she begins this next phase of her fight, we want to help lift some of the financial burden off her shoulders so she can focus on healing. Funds raised will go toward her medical expenses, household bills, travel for treatments, and daily living costs while she’s unable to work.
