On July 13th, while serving children in her position as an elementary school paraprofessional, Doreen suffered an injury in which she fractured her femur. Paramedics were called and transferred Doreen to the hospital, where she had surgery the following day. This injury is significant and the recovery and possible long-term effects will follow her for months, if not years, to come. Doreen does not know when she will be physically able to return to either of her two jobs. This loss of income is devasting to Doreen's livelihood.

We are reaching out today to ask all those who know, love, and care for Doreen to donate a financial gift so she may better focus on her healing. If you know our independent and hard-working sister, you know this is a very difficult request. Let's wrap her in love during this very difficult time.
