Get Dora to Trinity Laban’s Saturday School
My name is Dora and I’m trying to raise funds so I can go to a Saturday Music School held at Trinity Laban in London.
I’m really excited about this – and never expected to be offered a place.
If I go, I’ll get to play my violin in an orchestra with children my age, sing in their choir, learn about musicianship and technique as well as learn about rhythm and expression through movement called Dalcroze. And this will be taught by teachers who work all over the world; who love music just like me.
But I need money to go. It will cost £3204** – which is a lot of money and being honest, is much more money than my family have to help
me.
(*24th July 2021 - Target £3174 because we received £30 offline donations)
(** 31st July 2021 - Target £2844 after receiving £330 in offline donations)
(*** 6th August 2021 - Target £2654 after receiving £190 in offline donations)
(**** 13th August - Target £2584 after receiving £70 offline donations)
(***** 19th August - HIT TARGET after receiving £335 in offline donations)
So please help me raise this money – by donating to this and sharing with your friends.
Thanks so SO much.

Message from Dora’s Mum –
It’s not comfortable for me to write about my own daughter so, I’ll keep this short.
The impact of being able to attend this Saturday school will be enormous both in terms of Dora’s musical understanding and her self esteem.
More than this, I hope it will gently feed into the wider community; encouraging her friends and other children to be creative and aspirational. Making their dreams also worth pursuing.
But we face a real challenge here – where this opportunity is being held back by our own financial limitations. Should the next couple of years go well; there are many more opportunities for financial assistance but getting to that point is going to be determined by the next few steps. So this opportunity is really important.
I really appreciate your time in reading this page.
Please donate.
