Doog, our beloved dog, has always been a source of joy and comfort in our lives. She’s a quirky little girl—awkward but fancy, and incredibly sweet. When she’s happy or excited, she folds her left ear into an L shape, which we lovingly call her antenna. She’s very talkative, speaking in what we call Doog language, going 'mh mh mh.' Even at 14 years old, she’s still a spring chicken, full of energy and life. Her little sister, June Yur, would love to have her here as long as possible, and my girlfriend Karla has had Doog for half her life. Doog is more than just a dog—she’s Karla’s soulmate.
Recently, Doog became ill, and after a series of exams and lab tests, we received the heartbreaking news that she has cancer. Since her diagnosis, we’ve moved forward with every treatment recommended to us in a heartbeat, never thinking twice about the money because she means everything to us. We’ve done everything we can to give her the best care possible, including surgery to remove the tumor and ongoing chemotherapy treatments. Each step has brought hope, but also mounting bills and emotional stress.
The costs have quickly added up—from the initial exams and lab work to the surgery and ongoing treatments. Money is getting really tight, and we would hate for finances to be the reason we couldn’t do everything possible to keep Doog alive and healthy for as long as we can. Your generosity will help us cover the debt from Doog’s medical care and give us peace of mind during this difficult time. Any support you can offer means the world to us, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness.
