Empower Dontrinique's Dream to Become an Educator

Hello, I’m a first-generation college student. I’m going into my sophomore year of college! My name is Dontrinique Ingram-Love, a student at Virginia State University with a cumulative GPA of 3.7. I am writing to respectfully request your assistance with registering for my upcoming classes, as I am currently experiencing financial hardship that has prevented me from settling my tuition balance in full.
Over the past several months, I have faced several personal and financial challenges. My grandmother—who had always encouraged me and helped with small payments—recently passed away. This loss has placed additional emotional and financial strain on my family. My mother also isn't working right now because she needs time to really grieve. My mother and I have been doing our best to keep up, but it has been difficult to manage the remaining balance.
Despite these setbacks, I remain fully committed to completing my degree in Education. I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of students, just as educators once did for me. My goal is to become a source of encouragement and support for others, and that mission continues to fuel my dedication to my studies.
I am respectfully requesting the opportunity to register for my classes with the help of you guys. I am willing to take on part-time work and make the necessary financial commitments to meet payment deadlines once I am caught up and back on track. I simply ask for the chance to continue my education uninterrupted. Virginia State University has become a place where I feel supported, and I am determined to finish what I started.
I understand that many students face similar challenges, but I hope you will consider my perseverance and academic commitment. Any assistance or help will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your time and consideration!
