Help Donnie Walk Again After Sudden Neurological Illness

Donation protected
Our family’s world was turned upside down when my brother, Donnie, was suddenly hospitalized with a severe neurological condition affecting his brain and spine.

What started as small tingling sensations and loss of feeling in his legs quickly became something much more serious. Doctors have found inflammation and lesions in his brain and spinal cord caused by his immune system attacking his own body. They are still working to determine if this is multiple sclerosis (MS) or a related autoimmune disease, but what we do know is that his life changed overnight.

Right now, Donnie is unable to walk and has limited use of his hands. He will need intensive rehabilitation to regain basic mobility and independence.

Before this, Donniewas always on the move. He manages a Donatos store, works as a DoorDasher, and is a talented artist who creates detailed drawings and unique blacklight pen pieces. When he’s not working or creating, he loves listening to music and spending time with his friends.

That’s why this has been especially devastating—he’s someone who thrives on staying active, working hard, and expressing himself through art.

Because of his condition, he will be out of work for weeks, possibly months, while focusing on recovery. Between hospital stays, ongoing testing, rehabilitation therapy, and everyday living expenses, the financial burden is quickly adding up.

We’re asking for help to support Donnie during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go toward:

-Medical bills and treatments
-Rehabilitation and physical therapy
-Lost income while he’s unable to work
-Everyday expenses during recovery

If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean just as much to us.

Donnie is one of the hardest-working and most creative people I know. We’re holding onto hope that with time, care, and support, he’ll regain his strength, independence, and the ability to do what he loves again.

Thank you for keeping him in your thoughts and for any support you can give—it truly means everything to our family.
