Many of you know our wonderful neighbor, Donnie. He is a familiar face in our neighborhood, but lately, getting around has become a major challenge for him. Right now, Donnie uses a walker to get his mail. What should be a quick trip takes him nearly an hour round-trip. He has to stop and take multiple breaks on the curb just to catch his breath and rest. Despite the pain and difficulty, Donnie pushes through every day to keep his independence.

I want to help Donnie retain his independence and improve his ability to get around the neighborhood. My goal is to raise enough funds to buy him a reliable, comfortable mobility scooter so he can safely zip down to the mailbox, visit neighbors, and enjoy being outside without physical exhaustion. The funds raised will go directly toward purchasing the scooter, a protective weather cover, and a backup battery. Any contribution, big or small, will directly impact Donnie's daily quality of life.
