Help Donnie Get her Belongings to Louisiana

Donnie Sanches has spent her life serving others and caring for her partner Malcom. After his passing she decided to return to Louisiana where all of her family is. She downsized most of her belongings and only kept what was important to her and Malcom. She hired a moving company that happily took her money and then never showed up. Despite numerous attempts the company will not refund her money and still have not showed up to pick up her belongings. The company is now longer responding to her calls and has blocked her e-mail. It has taken a lot for us to get Donnie to accept support. Please donate if you can go help reduce the financial and emotional burden this has been.

I am posting this message to hopefully make others aware of scams. Malcolm passed away in May, I began making preparations to return to Louisiana and sought a moving company to move my stuff to Louisiana. In June after viewing many options I learned moving is expensive. I consolidated all my belongings the best I could, giving most of my things away. I called so many places and finally settled on one, I should have realized the name was my first hint of scam. They were all to happy to take my money and were on so helpful. But as the time neared I was informed I had to pay more due to adding a few items, which I finally agreed to pay to get my stuff moved. As the time neared the movers never showed up. I waited with the phone for three days getting the same response “from the company the driver called and no one answered.” No one called or texted. The company never verified any contact with me. I constantly called the to be told the same thing over and over. They had the same response, they called and the drive confirmed the scheduled pickup. Again nothing. My landlord agreed to be at the house to meet the driver and she has not heard a word. Here it is 9 days later and now they are saying the policy is no one has answered the driver. My land lord was at the house Sunday morning at 6:00 am and waited until noon with no call even though the company verified the truck would be there. Of course the company states they can not give the drivers phone number to the customer. I texted the company today and was informed they followed the policy that some one has to answer the calls well that would require someone actually calling to say when and what time they will be there which did not happen.
