Help Donnie Gardner get a kidney transplant!

Donation protected
Family & Friends,

I am starting this GoFundMe in honor of Donnie Gardner my amazing husband and an incredible role model to our children. On June 28, 2017, just two short months after we started dating, he was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease and was told he had 10-12% kidney function and would be on dialysis by December-March. On November 26, 2018 he went in for his usual iron shot to help his hemoglobin (blood) levels to go up, but somehow he was still losing blood so he was hospitalized. He was blessed to not have to start dialysis until November 28, 2018.

He is now 7 months on dialysis, going every Tues, Thurs & Saturday for 4 hours and 15 minutes per session. He's doing an incredible job following doctor’s orders, he hasn’t missed a session, he's eating properly, and getting outstanding report cards and keeping in hopeful spirits. He gets excited because all the doctor’s tell him he’s a perfect candidate for a kidney transplant. We are blessed, and happily married April 26, 2019!!

His transplant referral has been received by the transplant hospital and he has been approved to start the process needed to be put on the transplant list. Due to the physical strain of dialysis and the fatigue it causes, he is unable to work. As you can imagine an incredible amount of expenses are incurring for dialysis. We are in urgent need so he can continue moving forward to receiving a new kidney. We are asking for your help.

We are so thankful and blessed to have our family, friends and many others supporting us. We thank you in advance for your prayers and generosity.
