Dear friends & family,

We need your help to show the one-&-only, Donnie Bruyn, some love right now.

He's the not-so-common, common denominator that has connected so many of us. For more years than we can count Donnie has provided us all with lots of memorable meals, beautiful parties, immeasurable mentorship, countless inspirational "Donnie-isms," and incessant whistling.

Donnie just received a diagnosis of Stage IV Cancer that has spread into his lungs and brain.
Now he faces a fight against the odds - but we all know he's been known to pull off the impossible before,
because "that's what Donnie's do."

He's staying very positive and focusing on spending quality time with his favorite people, his kids. He wants everyone to know that he loves you all and hopes we can have a big get-together soon, but he's very busy with doctor's appointments and needs to save all his strength, so please stick to messaging through facebook or texts instead of calls at this time.

It goes without saying that Donnie needs our support and prayers as he faces this incredible challenge. For once, the endless light and love that he is always shining outward needs to be reflected back his way with the support of all of us. Though he would never ask - and he hasn't - it's time for us to join him in this fight.

Please help us show Donnie & his kids just how much we all love and support him in this trying time.
