Thank you to all who are taking the time to read this and support our family. This GoFundMe is to support the financial burden of losing our dog Jeanie. Jeanie was a rescue that my mom, Donna, adopted five years ago. Jeanie’s first life was as a puppy mill dog, abused through breeding. When Jeanie met my mom, it was pure love and has been pure love since. Bill, my brother, has also developed a particularly close relationship with Jeanie. Once he moved in with my mom, and my mom had her stroke, Bill and Jeanie were main companions during a dark and destabilizing time in our family life.

Jeanie is a genuine lover. Humanity mistreated her, but she has an honest heart of pure gold. She recently needed an emergency vet visit, and with the ultimate cost of what her treatment would have to be, our family made the difficult decision to lay Jeanie to rest. Unfortunately, this has still cost us quite a bit with emergency X-rays and multiple vets, and so we’re turning to our community for support so that we can maintain stability after a difficult time.
