My name is Doug Sweat. My sister, Donna Tuttle, had a stroke several months ago and has not been able to return to work. During her treatment for her stroke, we discovered another medical issue which she had kept from us. After follow up appointments with other doctors, she learned that she has endometrial cancer. We had hoped that a hysterectomy would take care of this but the day before that procedure was to take place, we were informed that the cancer had advanced and she is at stage IVB.
Our goal is to keep her focused on herself and not how they are going to pay their monthly bills. Her husband, Keith, needs to be by her side as much as possible and not worried about bills because he missed days of work.
Donna was and still is our 2nd mother. She is the oldest of 5 and has always made sure we were taken care of. It's now my time to step up and take care of her any way I can. She is the kindest and most loving person I have ever known and during this time, she deserves to have as many worries as possible lifted off of her shoulders.
All donations will go towards Donna’s medical expenses.
