Help Donna Wilson Heal at Home
Donation protected
This is mostly directed to mutual friends/ old high school aquaintences of my dear friend, Donna Wilson. Donna recently was admitted to the hospital with cellulitis in her leg and sepsis from said infection. She was admitted for five days, then discharged with the sepsis controlled, but the leg in worse condition than when she was admitted. While her immediate friends and family have rallied round her to help with some finances, food, house cleaning, and transportation to get antibiotic infusions, she still needs wound care that the hospital provided no supplies or medicine for. Additionally, her husband needs transportation back and forth to work while she recovers, and Donna is the only member of her immediate family who drives, leaving him and her mother stranded while Donna is down. My sister, a nurse, has been treating the wounds, but the supplies for the care are expensive, and Uber or Lyft funding for James' and Trisha's transportation would not go amiss. If you are able to spare a few dollars, we can continue to treat Donna at home to prevent further hospital bills and get her back on her feet all the sooner. This fundraiser is something that I have chosen to organize, not something I'm putting up at her family's behest. Thank you to anyone who contributes.
