It was a year ago today that Donna Rose, my wife, was in a car accident while driving in Meadview, AZ. The accident left her with six fractures to her spine. We never imagined that a year later, Donna would still be unable to walk. Getting her admitted to Kingman Regional Medical Center was a challenge, and by the time she was admitted, she weighed only 78 pounds. She spent eleven days in the hospital before coming home to me, her husband, who is over 75 years old and disabled myself.
Since then, we have faced many challenges. Our insurance no longer covers Donna’s home health care, and we have ongoing co-pays for healthcare and prescriptions. Over the past year, we have used up our savings to cover these expenses. Now, we are reaching out to our friends and community for help to get us through this difficult time.
There is hope—Donna’s physical therapist is optimistic that she will walk again. Your support will help us cover the costs of her care and bring us closer to that goal. Please donate what you can. Every bit helps and means the world to us.
