Donna WAS one of the sweetest-spirited people you could ever meet—always willing to give her time and help those in need. She and her husband, Paul, have shared a remarkable journey together for 44 years. Their love story began when they met as children, and Paul declared to his mother, “I’m going to marry that girl!” Together, they have built a beautiful family with two daughters and eleven grandchildren. Donna and Paul are not only pillars of their family but are also cherished by their Warwick Assembly Church community.

For the past six years, Donna has bravely battled several autoimmune diseases, including Interstitial Lung Disease. These illnesses have slowly attacked her immune system, joints, bones, blood vessels, skin, muscles, and most critically, her lungs. Over the last two years, Donna’s lung condition has significantly worsened, with extensive scarring and nodules making it increasingly difficult for her to breathe. Despite these challenges, Donna continued to work at her church in the mornings and cared for home care patients in the afternoons—a job she loved but could no longer continue as her health declined.

Several weeks ago, Donna suffered a severe flare-up that sent her to the emergency room and kept her in the ICU for eight days. She was placed on oxygen and, after extensive testing, was added to the lung transplant list.

Donna entered into her glory today to meet Jesus. She fought bravely and shared her love and faith with everyone who knew her. This sudden loss has placed a tremendous financial strain on her husband, Paul, and the family is asking for prayers and support as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
