Help Donna Clark (Peachy)

My name is Kimberly. I'm fundraising for the strongest woman I know, my sister Donna Clark. However, many people will know her by her Disney nametag "Peachy." Donna is an artist at Disney World and one of the most generous and kind-hearted people you will ever meet. For the last 100 days, she has been in the hospital battling Guilliame Barre Syndrome, but that's not where her battles began.

My sister has survived H1-N1 and multiple battles with cancer. Throughout her cancer treatments, she continued to work at the job she loves - drawing caricatures and Nameworks at Walt Disney World in Orlando. The only thing that kept her from Disney was when the park closed during the pandemic. During that time, Donna had to use all her savings to keep a roof over her head and her bills paid. She was thrilled when the park reopened, then horrified to learn her cancer had returned. Still, that did not keep Donna away from the job she loves. Every day she went to cancer treatment, she would leave there and go to work.

Last summer we were so blessed to learn that Donna's cancer was back in remission. However, soon after she was stricken with an enemy just as lethal - Guilliame Barre Syndrome. GBS is a disorder where your immune system attacks your nervous system. While there is treatment for GBS, there is no cure.

Since November, Donna has suffered four attacks of GBS leaving her having to re-learn how to use her right leg to walk. She has now been in the hospital / rehabilitation center for 100 days. Now, she is finally regaining strength and movement and making baby steps, but it will still be several weeks before she can return to her life and work. Without help from friends, we don't know how she will pay her rent this month. Donna's worry over how she will pay her bills is interfering with her ability to concentrate on just getting better.

My goal is to raise enough money to cover her monthly bills and give her time to heal without worry. This will relieve her stress so she can focus on regaining her ability to walk. Any help you can offer is kindly appreciated and know that whatever she doesn't use will be passed on to others in need.
