For Those Of You Who Don't Know Me, My Name Is Donna Brown and was recently diagnosed with stage four NK/T-cell lymphoma, which is a rare, fast-growing (aggressive) nasal type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). The Doctors have started an aggressive treatment which includes radiation AND chemotherapy called S.M.I.L.E., but to be honest, THIS is NOTHING to "smile" about.
I am enduring the fight of my life and am so very thankful to those of you who have already reached out to me with your support and prayers. This is an aggressive regimen, so the support of family/friends is extremely important to me.
Each day it becomes more difficult to work full time, and makes meeting monthly expenses more challenging to manage. I am hoping to offset the catastrophic expenses associated with my treatment ie, out of pocket medical expenses such as medication, co payments and travel expenses.
