Help Donna and John Recover from Severe Injuries

To know Donna and John, is to love Donna and John. They have been staples to Bob’s Automotive in Dover. Always being the ones to reach out to in the event you had an automotive crash, malfunction, necessary repair or inspection.

This time, we’re extending our hands and asking you to help us, help them.

On Feb 3rd, John and Donna were making their daily commute to Bobs Automotive and Wrecker Service in Dover for work. Here is what occurred in Donna’s words:

”Some already know, most probably don't.

John & I were in a horrible multi car pile up this morning on the Spaulding due to a solar flare blinding multi people, who crashed. I heard it was 7 cars involved.

I'm in Wentworth Douglas.

John was life flighted from here after arrival and CAT scans, to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. It kills me to be apart, but he needs to be in the best place for him.

He's in very serious condition due to his injuries.

They are still trying to stabilize him and his pain.

They just called with an update on John.

Every rib is broken, and he has a collapsed lung.

The worst, and the fear now is handling a flap tear on his aorta, which may require surgery. Until he is stabilized, it's an unknown right now.

He has many contusions and cuts.

I have 5 broken ribs, a partial collapsed lung, and my knees are very bruised and I have cuts on my arms. I'm ok as long as I don't move at all.

I'm praying for everyone else who had crashed ahead of us, for those we crashed into, there was no place or time to avoid it.

I also am praying for the one who slammed into us almost head on after the truck came to rest in the guardrails.

I was told the bed of the truck landed on the Northbound side of the turnpike. I got a short video after Zac and Devin brought it in on the tow trucks.

I honestly don't ask for much, but if you could all lift us up in prayer, and pray for John and the team working on him, we could really use it.”

During this time, they will both be out of work, and to help with the burden of the inevitable…. bills, life, mortgage payments, heat, fuel, insurance, taxes, electricity, medical care.. We are asking for contributions towards these expenses.
