Hi my name is Donna and here is my story

In 2012 I found out that I had Stage 2 Breast Cancer. After having a partial mastectomy, going through 25 rounds of radiation and then 5 rounds of chemo, I was Cancer free for 6 years. After having neck pain for 2 months, that I thought was from lifting a heavy weight, I eventually had an MRI in December 2018. The MRI showed I had a tumor in my neck that caused the beginning of a fracture on my C3. I was immediately admitted into the hospital and had a couple CT scans done as well as bloodwork and eventually a biopsy on my liver. Cancer was found not only in my neck but in my liver, spine, right hip and various other areas in my chest. It was determined that I had Stage 4 metastasis Breast Cancer. In the past 2 years I have had radiation on my neck area twice and on my right hip. With the radiation on my neck it had burned my esophagus and made it hard to swallow and eat for 4 weeks at a time. I am now on my 5th type of chemo treatment after 2 years and have endured the lovely side effects chemo has to offer such as fatigue, hair loss, vomiting, weight loss and weight gain, diarrhea, hand/foot syndrome and more. Having Cancer has forced me to stop working my job of almost 18 years and this has caused a real financial struggle . Due to the major loss of income I have had from not being able to work I have run through all of my savings. I am now on permanent disability as I will be on chemo treatments for the rest of my life. I need help with copays and deductibles as I have to start new health coverage asap meeting new yearly deductibles all over again this late in the year. I get 4 PET Scans a year, blood work monthly, chemo medication that I take 14 days on and 7 days off, doctor appoints every month, etc.. I'm usually not one to ask for help but Im not sure what else to do. $4000 would help me to not have to worry about medical bills for a little while. I am hoping to raise at least $3k to pay my deductible and the past bills that are beginning to pile up. Any size donation helps.
