Hey everyone! Meet Stormie! She's an 18-month-old ball of curiosity! She spends her days picking flowers, on adventures with her twin sister and older siblings. She loves anything outdoors: swings and slides, apple pie, and of course, K-Pop Demon Hunters.
Unfortunately, Stormie needs surgery for a mass cell tumor. As most of you remember, a few months ago, Stormie started having seizures. To the point she was unresponsive and rushed to the Emergency Room. The absolute scariest day of my life. I was at work when I got the phone call that my baby had stopped breathing. I rushed to make sure I was there when the ambulance arrived. After rounds of back-to-back seizures, she was resuscitated, but the seizures continued on the way to the hospital. She was released from the hospital 4 hours later, about 2 of those hours sitting in the waiting room. From that moment, I knew it was up to me to fight for my baby girl because the medical field won't fight quite as much as a momma!
I pushed and pushed for this lump to be looked at, and finally, 2 specialists later and a 12-hour car ride, she was diagnosed with a mass cell tumor, which could be the leading cause of the random seizures, fatigue, and random fevers. Insurance will not pay for this surgery until it either spreads or becomes more aggressive. So, this is left in Mama's hands, and I'm asking for help from each and every one of you to help make this surgery happen for my baby girl!
