Hi my name is Jessica Toney-Pugesek, I first want to say thank you for taking the time to help my baby sister Jodie and her husband, Ronnie Jordan through an unforeseen accident.

On Feb 9th Ronnie was headed home from work when a car passing another car on double lines hit him head on. Ronnie was extracted from the vehicle with massive injuries(broken leg, broken ankles, all his ribs broken, broken Jaw, dislocated knee, fractured back, tongue split half in two) Ronnie was transported to VCU trauma where he has underwent several surgeries and will undergo at least another 5 more. We thank God that Ronnie is alive and God is truly that reason as he should not have made it out of that Van alive. Ronnie is the sole financial provider as Jodie is a stay at home mother to their two kids, Noah and Sabrina. Ronnie will have a very extensive road of recovery ahead of him, Jodie will step in and be that caregiver along with having to figure out the financial support.

In all transparency, this is not something that we have ever done (a gofundme) my family and i needed to put aside our pride and request help for them.

The money raised will go to their Monthly bills, their groceries, gas to and from the hospital/rehab, any medical out of pocket expenses and potentially may be used to modify their home(ramp/widen doors etc) when he comes home, as he will have to learn how to walk all over again.

If you are not able to donate would you mind praying? Please pray for Ronnie’s healing/recovery and means of support; please pray he and his family stay obedient to God through all of this and lean into God, and please pray for the other individuals involved in the accident.
