Hi, my name is Abraham Balontong, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your support.

I'm creating this fundraiser to help cover the medical expenses for my dog, who was recently been diagnosed with Parvovirus (Parvo), a highly contagious and life-threatening illness that affects a dog’s intestinal tract and immune system. It causes severe vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, and if not treated urgently, it can quickly become fatal, especially in young dogs.

Currently Oklie is being hospitalized and this news has been heartbreaking for me and my family. My dog is more than just a pet. He is family, I’ve had the joy of watching him grow into such an energetic, playful, and loving dog. He would always run around the house, wag his tail with excitement, and bring smiles to everyone. But since the diagnosis, it saddens me deeply to see him so weak, barely able to move, and losing the spark that made him so full of life.

Unfortunately, the cost of treatment is overwhelming. Between hospitalization, medications, fluids, and aftercare, the bills are quickly adding up. While the veterinary team is doing their best to help, the reality is that Parvo treatment can cost anywhere from several hundred to a few thousand dollars depending on how serious the case becomes.

I would like to share that I am only 16 years old, and I currently work two jobs just to support myself and try to help my parents with household bills when I can, while I continue to work two jobs I am also trying to stay busy with school and activities outside of school, although we are not a wealthy family we do our best to stay on top of our responsibilities, this unexpected emergency has put us in a very tough position financially.

Most of my income is now going directly toward my dog’s treatment. I’m doing everything I can, but it’s not enough.

That’s why I’m asking for help.

Any amount you’re able to donate, whether big or small, will go directly toward my dog’s medical expenses and his aftercare once he is well enough to return home. Every dollar truly makes a difference and brings us one step closer to giving him a second chance at life.
