‼️ALL THE WORLD ‼️ALL GOOD PEOPLE ❤ WE NEED YOUR HELP ‼️❤
This is Nataliya and Kaz Fielek. We take care of stray cats here in the USA by helping abandoned, stray, and feral
cats have a better life by providing them with shelter, food, and veterinary care.
I am proud to say I am Ukrainian, and my husband is Polish. Both of our countries are being affected by the Russian invasion in direct and indirect ways.
A bloody war has been going on since February 24, 2022, unjustifiably waged by Russia with the support of Belarus against the civilian population of Ukraine. For weeks now, civilians, including women and children, have been suffering and dying. While people can somehow take care of their safety, the animals are completely defenseless. Fortunately, most Ukrainians did not abandon their furry friends and attempted to help as much as possible. At the same time, the situation in some Ukrainian shelters is very bad - it is very difficult to deliver food and other necessities. Volunteers are being killed while doing so.
These animals are in shock, stressed, and do not understand what is happening. They need your help like never before!
Your donation will be converted into much-needed supplies and services:
*- medicine;
* - food;
* - carriers;
* - transportation to bring cats, dogs and other pets out of the harm's way;
We’re in close contact as our friends who are facing a dire situation altogether with the 1,100 dogs and cats in their care.
Would you be able to help the animal rescuers evacuating pets abandoned and displaced by war?
This fundraiser will provide the necessary support, including emergency funds, to groups that are helping the Ukrainian people and the animals in their care who have been devastated by Russia’s military invasion
Many refugees have been forced to leave their furry friends behind at the border because they do not meet the criteria imposed by the European Union that require pets to be vaccinated, microchipped and have rabies shots. However, many countries, including Ukraine’s neighbors Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia, have eased their restrictions.
With the weight of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine heavy in our hearts, we are thinking of the Ukrainian people and their animals and identifying ways to help them now and in the long term.
People are desperately fleeing with their pets in tow, showing the world that they value their animals’ lives just as they do their own.
With no time to waste, they are prioritizing support to shelters, rescue groups and veterinary clinics in Ukraine. It is vitally important to support these institutions in their efforts to maintain operations and services. In many cases, they are helping individuals and families who cannot flee but are trying to hold onto and care for their pets and other animals. In addition, some groups are caring for animals on the streets. The demand and need of the moment is substantial and will continue to be significant in the future.
The groups trying to provide relief need food, carriers, medicines and critical supplies.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine offers one more affirmation of a powerful lesson that we have learned nation by nation and crisis after crisis around the world. Most people with pets will not willingly leave them to fend for themselves. Emergency response and evacuation efforts cannot be successful if they do not accommodate that most profound of human desires to protect a beloved pet from danger and harm and to do everything in our power to stay together. That’s what we see in the images streaming in from the conflict zone, the images of people with the pets they love and would not leave behind.
Please donate to protect animals imperiled by disasters or humanitarian crises like the conflict in Ukraine and to support all our lifesaving work. We are very grateful for your generous contribution, which will help defend innocent Ukrainian civilians and support global freedom
Слава Україні !
