Help donate a CuddleCot in memory of Townes Weaver
Donation protected
One year ago today, I delivered my son, Townes. He was stillborn. It was the most beautiful and tragic day of my life. Those three days in the hospital run together in my hazy memory, peppered with vivid moments so sharp I'd swear they happened yesterday.
I'll forever be grateful for the two days we were able to spend with him before saying goodbye. Within the span of 48 hours, we were able to sit in awe of his beauty and existence, then slowly watched him fade away, giving us the strength we needed to walk away knowing his time with us was done.
I don't want to imagine what my healing process would've looked like had we not been given that time. And we were only given that time because another woman who also had the awful experience of stillbirth donated a CuddleCot to the hospital.
There are approximately 24,000 stillbirths a year in the United States. Placing a CuddleCot, an in-room cooling unit, in hospitals gives families a gift of time by allowing precious, irreplaceable hours to bond, obtain priceless photos, plaster molds, and for extended family to come meet the baby.
A Cuddle Cot device gives families a chance to say goodbye.
To honor Townes on his 1st Birthday, we'd like to donate a CuddleCot to a hospital in need.
